Check monitor, input, and cables before opening the PC
2 / Why it happens

Most cases are monitor power, wrong input, loose cable, or a hardware fault. Start outside the case.

3 / Diagnose

Is the monitor getting power?

  1. Check monitor power light. On: move to signal checks. Off: keep checking power.
  2. Press monitor power once.Do not hold buttons or change menu settings yet.
  3. Follow the power cable.Check the monitor end, wall socket, and power board.
  4. Test the wall socket.Use a known-working low-risk device such as a phone charger.
4 / Fix safely

Restore monitor power

Do not open a monitor or power board. Replace, do not repair.
  1. Reseat the power cable at the monitor and wall.
  2. Bypass the power board if safe and allowed.
  3. Move to a working wall socket if the socket is dead.
  4. Swap the monitor if it has no power on a known-good socket.
  5. Verify: image stays visible for one minute.
